About the Neighborhood

Hollingsworth Park at Verdae

Hollingsworth Park is a 300-acre village-style community thoughtfully designed to reclaim life, as we once knew it. Located in the City of Greenville, South Carolina, this highly anticipated traditional neighborhood earns distinction as being the residential foundation of the larger 1,100-acre master planned development known as Verdae. Here, the best of yesteryear—classic architecture, close-knit homes, pedestrian-friendly streetscapes and a neighborhood business district—are being reinvented. It’s a place for all ages and stages of life, offering a diversity of housing options at varied price points. In fact, homes are priced from the $200s to well over a million.

Contrary to mainstream subdivision living, this traditional walking neighborhood is designed so that public and private spaces are integrated and share equal importance. In Hollingsworth Park, common open spaces, landscaped parks and finely detailed streetscapes invite activity and interaction among neighbors. At the same time, private gardens and intimate plazas provide tranquil pockets to escape. Stroll along a tree-lined walkway to the park, or hop on your bicycle for a short ride to the neighborhood’s YMCA at Legacy Square. Of course, you’ll only have to venture a short distance by car, because Hollingsworth Park is so close to everything.

The 2012 Inspiration Home has been constructed within this special community, specifically located in The Manor at Hollingsworth Park. This gracious neighborhood, an enclave of 54 beautiful estate lots, is adjacent to the central 20-acre park amenity, Legacy Park. Elegant home styles circa 1850 to 1920—Tudor, French, Italianate, Colonial and Victorian-blend together to create a neighborhood reminiscent of historic districts across the South. The 2012 Inspiration Home, a precursor to the Tudor Eclectic style circa 1890, is the fourth home to be constructed in this premier location and promises to be a fine example of New Traditional design.
